Deas Island

Spent a wonderful yesterday on Deas Island with Marilyn and the pups. Nice easy trails (grateful for flat and easy after Squamish). Some crackers, cheese and wine :) A bald eagle! And a sculling regatta to boot.

Squamish

Spent the day running some new trails in Squamish, in Survival of the Fittest. Only 35K but 6,000' of climb. Tougher than I was expecting at 5:15, ranked about 50%.

The Mac 50K

Had a wonderful weekend at the Mac. So good to see everyone again. So much love. So many hugs.

I thought of you today. I promised that I would never forget you. And I never will.

5:15 on wonderful Burnaby Mountain. Not sure how far I went. Really need to get a joy-sucker. Met some wonderful pups. It was hot and I forgot SCaps. Struggled for parts.

If I could go back in time ... I wouldn't change anything that I did. I would repeat every step and every misstep. Each of them. All of them. I wouldn't risk any change to the timeline that created you.
