The Last Jedi
After the clusterfuck disaster that was The Force Awakens, I decided never to watch another so-called Star Wars movie. This review of the next installment in Disney's cash grab, The Last Jedi, is to the point and hilarious and makes me long for days past.

Time Will Tell
Damn ... these lads are good. A performance that is gorgeous in its message, depth and simplicity.

The Stable Song ~ Gregory Alan Isokov
Now I've been crazy, couldn't you tell?
I threw stones at the stars, but the whole sky fell
Now I'm covered up in straw, belly up on the table
Well I drank and sang, and I passed in the stable
I threw stones at the stars, but the whole sky fell
Now I'm covered up in straw, belly up on the table
Well I drank and sang, and I passed in the stable

McCulloch Peak
A nice pic of the Cascades from McCulloch Peak with fog over the valley, by Peter. Of all the places I have run, none has changed my life like McCulloch Peak. The Hike was such a wonderful gift. I will always be grateful. I hope it goes on forever.

Into Dust ~ Mazzy Star
Still ... falling.
Breathless and on ... again.
Inside ... today.
Beside me ... today.
Breathless and on ... again.
Inside ... today.
Beside me ... today.

Dad. I wish you were here. Your beautiful granddaughter Kayla has had her own beautiful daughter: Darcy Quinn Schnekenburger. You would be so proud of both of them. Darcy is simply wondrous. A new sunrise on so many lives. Keegan is a good man. Together Kayla and Keegan will raise a wonderful person. I know you would add Darcy's picture to your wallet, right next to Rydra and Kayla :) We miss you.

I just found out
sir. I remember the first time we met ... in RB 1042. I remember taking your multivariate
stats course, the only course I had with you. You called me into your office after the first class.
You said … and I quote … “I don’t like your attitude!” What you didn’t like was
me chewing gum and drinking coffee during your class. So I stopped doing those
things. It was a tough
course, but you were always available to help. You offered to help with the stats on my thesis. I remember taking walks with you on the campus to talk about my numerical problems. You always had good advice. I remember playing squash with you. I remember drinking liquor with you in your
office, from the bottle you hid in your desk. You never called me Frank. I never called you Tom. They don’t make them like you anymore sir. So very, very
sad that you are gone. Rest in peace dear Herr Hazenberg.

Time Room
Time Room: A room within which the rate at which time passes (time flow) may be arbitrarily increased or decreased, relative to local time flow. Within a time room, all processes (physical, chemical, biological, quantal, etc.) occur at rates proportional to the room's time flow. Consequently, from within a time room, there is no way to tell whether the room's time is flowing faster or slower than local time.
